Tonya Fitzpatrick, Esq. is the co-Founder of World Footprints, a social impact travel media platform that includes the award-winning World Footprints podcast. She and her husband, Ian, have produced over 300 episodes with distinguished guests including the late Dr. Maya Angelou, David Rubenstein, Ken Burns, David Rockefeller, Jr., Robert Kennedy, Jr., Cat Cora, John Schneider and other celebrities, authors and thought-leaders. Through World Footprints, Tonya has shared stories that go beyond the surface and inspiring interviews that support a truth about the transformative power of travel and the common humanity we share.Tonya is a 3x TEDx and international speaker, lawyer, author and Explorers Club member. She was appointed as a Delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women and is a former political appointee to the post of Deputy Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education.Tonya graduated from the London School of Economics and Wayne State University Law School in addition to East China University of Politics and Law.
